What is Chicken of the Woods?

Chicken of the Woods is a mushroom‑powered food brand turning fungi into “chicken‑like” pieces for everyday meals like bowls, wraps and pastas. It’s designed for vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians and anyone curious about eating more plants without losing comfort food vibes.

Is it really made from mushrooms?

Yes – our products are built around mushrooms and fungi‑based protein, combined with a short list of plant ingredients like oils, seasonings and natural binders to create a juicy, chicken‑style bite.

Is Chicken of the Woods vegan?

All current products are 100% plant‑based and contain no meat, dairy, eggs or other animal‑derived ingredients, so they fit vegan and vegetarian diets as well as flexitarian habits.

How do I cook it?

Our pieces are made to be cooked like chicken strips: pan‑fry in a little oil for a few minutes until golden, then add to sauces, stir‑fries, wraps or salads. You can also bake or air‑fry them; full instructions are on each pack.

Where can I buy it?
