From idea to brand
What started as late‑night experiments with mushroom “chicken” for friends slowly turned into a bigger idea: a brand built on fungi that could help people swap a little less meat, one plate at a time. Over months of testing recipes, talking to other students and cooks, and learning about mushroom protein, the four of us decided to turn Chicken of the Woods into something people could actually buy, cook, and share.
